Meal a day without a screen 

Where we put our attention is precious, sacred even. When we eat, it is our attention that helps us fully digest what is on our plate. But most days we are pulling our attention between the loops on social media to replying to emails to shopping for stuff we don’t really need. 

We are everywhere but here and it’s time to come back.

One meal a day without a screen is our attention call back during the first Monday- Friday of the month. Getting clear with what we want in front of us. What we want our eyes, heart and stomach to digest. Choice is on our plates and in our cups. 

This will help you trace how often you are checking the phone, emails, dm’s, standing while eating or eating in a hurry. You can bring your full self back while eating this gorgeous meal. Ok, food is not always beautiful, but this is the moment you see beauty right where you are. Also helps you plan to create more beauty around you. Bring out the china, crystal glasses, or your favorite plates and napkins. No more waiting for a special occasion, this is it!

This is not about judging how far we get off center with our screen grabs, we all do it and just need the nudge to come back. 

We begin via email every 1st Monday of the month!

Tips for the week:

*Choose something to read, listen to or look at that does not require your feedback. Lean away from anything that makes you think you have to “do something”. This is a practice in receiving. Let this truly be a break.  

* A new kind of meal prep- look at your week and decide which meal you will be present for and have something to eat or look at that you are excited about. 

*Be sweet to yourself when you realize how hard this is. Laugh off the constant need to grab your phone and grab something else. 

Our community check in during the week

When we are not eating, we share resources that are life giving, rays of sunshine for our nervous system. Books (audio counts!), recipes, colors of fresh flowers on the table, podcasts, playlists, new to you teas or coffee you are trying. Space to share in community and cheer each other on. If you don’t want to app it, feel free to send me an email and I can relay your resources.
